Kenpei to barabara shibijin (憲兵とバラバラ死美人 , "The Military Policeman and the Dismembered Beauty") is a 1957 black-and-white Japanese film directed by Kyotaro Namiki. It is a Japanese horror film (J-Horror).
Shigesato Itoi was famously traumatized at a young age by accidentally seeing one of its more violent scenes in a theatre. Later, he drew on that experience to create Giygas' dialogue in the video game EarthBound.[2] [3]
